Worker crushed to death at Melbourne construction site

A 25-year-old man has been killed in a workplace incident in Melbourne.

WorkSafe Victoria said the man was crushed between a steel roof beam and an elevating work platform on Thursday morning.

The man died in hospital.

The safety watchdog confirmed it was conducting an investigation into the cause of the incident.
