Woman taken to hospital with severe burns after gas explosion at NSW brewery

A woman was taken to the hospital with severe burns after a blast occurred at a brewery in the NSW Central Coast.

The woman was engaged in kitchen duties at the Erina brewing company on Monday morning when a gas explosion occurred.

Emergency services arrived at the brewery around 11:30am to assist a woman who had sustained "severe burns.”

The woman was transported to Royal North Shore Hospital by a CareFlight helicopter.
