WA quad bike crash kills 47-year-old man

A 47-year-old man has died in a quad bike crash in Western Australia.

The man's quad bike crashed in sand dunes at Cape Burney on Tuesday evening.

Attempts to revive the injured man were unsuccessful.

He was declared deceased at the scene.

Quad bike incidents have killed at least three people in Australia this year.

Safe Work Australia figures show 150 people have been killed in quad bike incidents since 2011, 23 of whom have been children.
