Victoria launches new forklift safety campaign

WorkSafe has published updated guidance and launched a comprehensive inspection campaign across the state in an effort to reduce the number of fatalities and injuries associated with forklifts.

The recently released guidelines offer practical tips for employers on how to safely operate and maintain forklifts and emphasises the importance of keeping forklifts and people on the ground separate.

The guidance highlights various measures to lower the risk by implementing traffic control systems like barriers, restricted areas, and signs.
