Vic farmworker killed in baler incident

A farm worker has died after becoming trapped in a hay baler on Tuesday evening.

According to WorkSafe Victoria, the 47-year-old man's arm was caught and dragged into the machine at about 3:45pm.

An investigation into the cause of the incident is currently underway, WorkSafe said on Wednesday.

The death brings Victoria's workplace fatality toll to 62 for this year.
