Truckie flown to hospital after early morning rollover crash

A truckie sustained serious injuries after his truck rolled on a dirt road in South East Queensland.

LifeFlight said the truck driver managed to free himself from the vehicle, but collapsed a short time later. He was found by a passing driver.

The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was called to the scene at about 5.30am on Thursday morning.

Queensland ambulance paramedics treated the man before the rescue chopper arrived. He was later flown to Royal Brisbane Hospital for further medical assessment.
