Truck driver flown to hospital after rollover crash in southern Queensland

A truck driver has been injured after his vehicle swerved off the road and crashed into trees in southern Queensland.

The incident occurred on Tuesday morning.

The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter landed at the scene at around 11am.

A passing motorist discovered the man trapped in the truck, and contacted ambulance paramedics.

After receiving initial treatment at the scene, the man in his 60s was flown to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for additional care.
