Traffic controller dies after being struck by truck in Waikato

A traffic controller died after being hit by a truck in Waikato on Sunday morning.

Police said the man was directing traffic at a closed highway when he was struck by the truck and fatally injured.

WorkSafe NZ is aware of the incident.
