Theme for National Safe Work Month 2026 announced

The theme for National Safe Work Month 2026 has been revealed.

The theme for this year, 'Safe work is for life', signifies the primary goal of WHS: to eliminate workplace fatalities, injuries, and diseases, while also highlighting the long-term repercussions that workplace harm can inflict on workers, their families, businesses, and communities.

Every October, National Safe Work Month is observed, allowing workplaces across Australia to prioritise safe and healthy work practices for everyone.

 This year, the campaign will emphasise that Work Health and Safety (WHS) is not solely about preventing immediate harm – it is also about ensuring the safety, health, and future of workers.
