SafeWork SA launches campaign against sexual harassment in the mining industry

SafeWork SA has recently launched a campaign aimed at stopping sexual harassment in the mining industry.

The campaign was launched following numerous reports into sexual harassment, discrimination and violence in the Australian mining industry.

The safety watchdog says it has released new guidance material on the issue to remind employers of their duties under the WHS Act 2012.

SafeWork SA has also organised a forum in Adelaide later this month to share information about sexual harassment with senior managers and safety representatives from major SA mines.
