Safety regulator probes fire at underground coal mine in central Queensland

Resources Safety and Health Queensland (RSHQ) has launched an investigation following a fire at an underground coal mine in central Queensland on 29 June.

RSHQ promptly dispatched coal inspectors to the mine to assist in securing the area.

The safety regulator said all workers were successfully evacuated with no reported injuries.
