Safety failures at Perth army base result in $100,000 fine
A construction company has been prosecuted by the federal safety regulator after a worker suffered serious injuries at a Perth army base.
During the incident on 7 June 2017, the worker was struck by a 200kg truss frame leading to a toe amputation.
Several workers were lifting a steel truss with a crane when the incident took place.
