Safe Work Australia updates data on work-related fatalities

The latest statistics from Safe Work Australia reveal that a total of 56 Australian workers have died at work this year. 

The Transport, postal, and warehousing industry has the highest number of fatalities at 27.

In second place is the Agriculture, forestry, and fishing sector, which has recorded 10 work-related fatalities.

The construction industry has reported seven fatalities, making it the third highest in terms of fatalities.

Furthermore, the figures indicate that 6 mine workers have lost their lives in workplace incidents this year.
