Safe Work Australia releases work-related fatality stats

Safe Work Australia has released the latest workplace fatality figures for 2022.

So far this year, 120 Australian workers have been killed at work. Transport, postal & warehousing industry has 52 fatalities; Agriculture, forestry & fishing 26 fatalities and construction have 15 fatalities.

The Manufacturing industry has lost nine workers this year, while Public administration & safety and Electricity, gas, water & waste services have each five fatalities.
