Rider killed in New Zealand ATV crash

A rider has died following an ATV crash in north Canterbury.

Emergency crews responded to reports of an ATV incident at a property in the Omihi area shortly before 11:30am on Monday morning.

Despite all the efforts made by emergency crews, the rider passed away at the scene.

Police said WorkSafe is aware of the incident.
