Rider injured after rolling quad bike in South Burnett

A woman in her forties was transported by air to the hospital following an incident involving a quad bike in the South Burnett region.

The LifeFlight helicopter was sent out to the private property shortly before 6:00pm on Thursday.

The LifeFlight team joined forces with local paramedics to administer care to the woman on-site for her head and shoulder injuries.

Subsequently, she was flown to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
