Results from the 2021 National Return to Work Survey released

SafeWork Australia has published results from the 2021 National Return to Work Survey.

The results show 81.3% of surveyed workers reported they had returned to work at some stage since their work-related injury or illness and were currently working.

Respondents were asked about the impact of COVID-19 on their recovery and return to work - around 73% of workers said the pandemic had no impact.

The National Return to Work Survey, which is conducted every two years, aims to monitor ill and injured workers, to better understand their experiences of being on workers’ compensation and factors that may influence their return to work.
