Rafting incident kills one person in New Zealand

A person has been killed in a rafting incident on the Clarence River in New Zealand.

Police confirmed the death in a statement on Sunday morning.

The person passed away at the scene.

WorkSafe has been informed, and the police are currently conducting investigations on behalf of the coroner.
