Queensland seeks feedback on quad bike safety rules

New laws to improve the safety of quad bikes and side-by-side vehicles in Queensland workplaces have been proposed.

The proposed changes are contained in a discussion paper, according to WorkSafe Queensland.

"Written submissions are sought from all interested parties on the specific questions and key issues identified in the discussion paper," WorkSafe Queensland said.

"The paper seeks feedback on the proposed scope of the regulations and the practical impacts for individuals, businesses, and the broader community.

"Feedback will guide the development of the proposed safety regulations under the Work Health and Safety Regulation 2011."
