Queensland rider injured after crashing quad bike on rural property

A man aged in his 70 sustained multiple injuries after crashing his quad bike northeast of Gympie on Sunday afternoon.

The incident happened on a rural property at about 3pm.

Paramedics treated the man at the scene before loading him into a LifeFlight rescue chopper.

He was later airlifted to Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
