Quad bike rider dies in Ashburton crash

A quad bike rider has died following a crash southwest of Christchurch Sunday morning.

A spokesperson said police responded to reports of a fatal ‘workplace incident’ near Ashburton at about 11 am.

Worksafe NZ confirmed an investigation has been launched following the incident.
