Quad bike crash sends New Zealand child to hospital

A child is being treated in hospital for injuries sustained in a quad bike crash in Invercargill.

The child suffered serious injuries after a quad bike struck a stump on Saturday afternoon.

The child was treated at the scene and taken to Southland hospital in a serious condition.
