Person sustains critical injuries in Marlborough workplace incident

A worker was flown to hospital with severe injuries following an incident involving an electric company in Marlborough.

A rescue chopper landed on the road to provide assistance to the injured worker.

A St John spokesperson confirmed the dispatch of one ambulance and a helicopter to the scene.

They said one person was conveyed to Wellington Hospital for urgent medical care.
