Person seriously injured at Invercargill workplace

Emergency services attended a workplace incident in Invercargill on Wednesday afternoon.

A worker sustained serious injuries during the incident.

The worker was treated at the scene before being taken to Southland Hospital for further treatment.

A WorkSafe spokesperson said the safety watchdog was aware of the incident.
