NT WorkSafe urges workplaces to participate in safety month activities

Northern Territory WorkSafe is encouraging workplaces to participate in National Safe Work Month activities this October.

The theme for this year’s National Safe Work Month is “For everyone’s safety, work safely”, reminding everyone in the workplace to prioritise health and safety.

NT WorkSafe Executive Director Peggy Cheong said the safety agency has organised a range of activities to promote workplace health and safety.

“I encourage all workplaces to hold a SafeTea event in October, where everyone can engage in important work health and safety conversations.”

National Safe Work Month is held every October to raise awareness of occupational health and safety in Australia.
