The NSW Resources Regulator has released its Quarterly Safety Report covering January to March 2024, giving operators of mine and petroleum sites a clear resource for meeting obligations under work health and safety laws.

This quarterly safety report focuses on risky and high-risk events, safety records, and regulatory efforts across coal mines, large (non-coal) mines, quarries, small mines, gemstone quarries, opal mines, petroleum and geothermal sites, and exploration sites, according to the regulator.
