NSW resources regulator releases Quarterly safety report for October to December 2025

The NSW Resources Regulator has released its Quarterly Safety Report for October to December 2025, giving mine and quarry operators fresh data to assess safety management systems and sharpen risk evaluations at their facilities.

Published every three months, the document details notified incidents, hazard-management trends and sector-specific statistics drawn from across the state's extractive industry.

Snapshot: incident notifications fall again

During the current reporting quarter, 501 incident notifications reached the regulator — a 16% reduction from the previous three months and a 9% drop against the corresponding period last year.
