NSW Annual Mine Safety Performance Report Published

The NSW Resources Regulator has released its annual mine safety performance report.

The report provides a summary of the mining industry’s health and safety performance in 2022–23.

The report reveals one NSW mine worker was fatally injured and 83 others were seriously injured in 2022-23.

“For operators, the report can help guide future health and safety improvements and provides performance benchmarks,” the NSW Resources Regulator said.
