Man seriously injured in cherrypicker incident at Melbourne shopping centre

A worker has suffered serious injuries following a cherrypicker incident in Melbourne.

Emergency crews were called to a shopping complex in Malvern East on Friday morning after the incident.

The man in his 30s was rushed to the Alfred Hospital suffering upper and lower body injuries.

A WorkSafe investigation into the incident is ongoing.
