Man injured after ride-on mower rolls over

A man has been injured after the ride-on mower he was operating rolled at a private property in Queensland.

The incident happened on Wednesday afternoon.

The man in his 50s called his family, who provided first aid and took him to a neighbouring town, where ambulance paramedics treated him for hand injuries.

He was later flown to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital by the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter.
