Man in critical condition after workplace incident in Ipswich

A man has sustained critical injuries after becoming wedged between a fence and a scissor lift south of Brisbane.

Paramedics responded to the scene on Torch St in Ipswich at around 7.10am on Thursday, where they administered treatment to the man.

The man in his sixties was swiftly transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious condition.

WorkSafe Queensland has been notified.
