OHS Daily News

A man has been flown to hospital after sustaining injuries in a mustering incident in the South Burnett region.

The man, in his 70s, was herding cattle on a motorbike at a private property when he collided with an anthill on Friday morning.

The LifeFlight rescue helicopter touched down in a field near the scene at about 11am.

QAS paramedics and a LifeFlight critical care doctor provided treatment to the man with shoulder and chest injuries.

He was then flown to Sunshine Coast University Hospital, where he was reported to be in stable condition.
