LifeFlight transports man to hospital following quad bike incident in south-east Queensland

The LifeFlight helicopter was called to a property southwest of Gin Gin on Thursday morning following an incident in which a quad bike struck a tree.

The LifeFlight Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedic arrived by road to provide treatment for a leg fracture to the man in his 40s.

The patient was subsequently transported to a nearby helicopter landing zone located on an adjacent property and was airlifted by the LifeFlight aeromedical team to Bundaberg Hospital.

He was transported in a stable condition.
