Investigations launched after Melbourne factory fire kills worker

A factory blaze that killed a worker and injured two others is being probed by WorkSafe Victoria.

WorkSafe said the workers were ‘decanting a Class 3 Dangerous Good’ on 8 December 2023 when the incident occurred.

The death brings the state’s workplace fatality toll in 2023 to 60, 11 fewer than at the same time last year.
