Hit and run incident sends Brisbane road worker to hospital

A worker was struck by a vehicle while working on a road in Brisbane on Tuesday night.

The incident occurred near Junction Rd in Morningside at around midnight.

The vehicle later collided with a power pole before the driver fled the scene.

The injured worker was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital with injuries that are considered not life-threatening.
