Gold Coast woman sustains severe injuries in workplace incident

A woman sustained serious injuries in a work-related incident on the Gold Coast on Thursday afternoon.

Paramedics arrived at the scene in Burleigh Heads at 3.40pm on Thursday to treat the injured worker.

The woman was treated for arm and chest injuries sustained in an incident involving a trailer.

She was then taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in critical condition.
