Gold Coast man injured in roof fall

A Gold Coast man suffered a serious head injury after he fell from a roof on Tuesday evening.

The man plummeted several metres at the Broadbeach Waters home just before 7pm.

Paramedics treated the man in his 50s at the scene before taking him to the Gold Coast University Hospital.

He was transported in a serious but stable condition.
