Gold Coast man hospitalised after being struck by falling tree

A man was struck by a falling tree in South East Queensland last week.

The man had been cutting down trees in Boyland when the incident occurred.

He was freed by fire crews after he became trapped underneath the tree.

Paramedics treated the man at the scene before transporting him to Gold Coast University Hospital.
