Girl, 9, killed in quad bike incident southeast of Perth

A nine-year-old girl has been killed in a quad bike incident in Western Australia.

The girl died after being thrown from the vehicle on Saturday afternoon.

Police said the girl was a passenger on the quad bike.

A male rider suffered minor injuries as a result of the incident.
