Female rider flown to hospital flowing quad bike crash in Northland

A female rider sustained severe injuries in a quad bike incident in Northland on Sunday afternoon.

The incident happened at around 12:15pm at Mangamuka in the Far North.

A quad bike was involved in the incident and a woman sustained serious injuries, according to police.

The woman was flown to Auckland City Hospital in serious condition.
