Driver crushed to death by own truck in Melbourne

WorkSafe has launched an investigation after a garbage truck driver was fatally crushed by his own vehicle in Melbourne.

WorkSafe said the truck rolled forward and trapped the driver between a post and a wall on Monday morning.

The latest fatality brings the Victorian workplace death toll in 2023 to 29.
