Death toll in the workplace rises

According to data from Safe Work Australia, the total number of Australian workers killed at work this year has now reached 43.
The transport, postal, and warehousing sector tops the list with 21 fatalities.
The Agriculture, forestry, and fishing sectors rank second with 8 deaths, while mining follows in third place with 6 fatalities.
Included in the statistics is Construction, which has 4 fatalities, Public administration and safety with 2 fatal incidents, and Other services as well as Electricity, gas, water, and waste services, each accounting for 1 fatality.
