Consultation open for new asbestos guides

The Asbestos Safety and Eradication Agency has recently launched a six-week public consultation on the new Guidelines for communicating about asbestos risk and the Communicating Asbestos Facts and Figures guide which is to be read and used in conjunction with the guidelines.

These guidelines are for anyone responsible for communicating asbestos risk with the public, including unions, worker and employer representatives, asbestos-related disease advocacy and support groups and asbestos professionals, specialist advisers, and training organisations among other stakeholders.

The consultation period ends on Friday, 8 April 2022.
