Chemical smell at Gold Coast brewery sends two workers to hospital

Emergency crews were called to a Gold Coast brewery following reports of chemical fumes on Thursday morning.

The incident forced the evacuation of more than 100 workers.

Two workers were taken to hospital following the 7am incident.

A company spokesperson said workers complained of ‘stinging eyes and an odour.’
