Brisbane worker critical after scaffolding fall

A worker is fighting for his life in the hospital after falling from scaffolding at a Brisbane construction site.

The 54-year-old man reportedly fell between six to ten metres onto concrete on Tuesday afternoon.

Emergency crews used a crane to rescue the injured man.

He was rushed to the Princess Alexandra Hospital and remains in critical condition.

Workplace Health and Safety Queensland has launched investigations into the cause of the incident.
