Rider dies after quad bike crash in Canterbury

A rider has died after rolling their quad-bike in New Zealand's South Island on Saturday night.

Police confirmed the incident happened in Methven at around 10.30pm.

The rider passed away at the scene.

An investigation to determine the cause of the incident is ongoing.
