Young child flown to hospital following machinery incident in South East Queensland

The LifeFlight aeromedical crew transported a child to the hospital after an incident involving machinery.

The incident happened on Friday morning.

The rescue chopper was sent to a private property in the Gympie Region at 11:06am.

The patient received on-site treatment for critical injuries before being flown to Queensland Children’s Hospital for additional care.
