Young boy flown to hospital after cattle incident
A young boy has been flown to hospital following a cattle incident in the North Burnett region.
LifeFlight said the boy was in the back of a stationary ute in a cow enclosure when the animal became agitated.
He was struck by the animal as he attempted to get away.
The boy suffered facial injuries following the incident last Friday.
Ambulance paramedics treated the boy at the scene before being flown to the Bundaberg Hospital by the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter.
He travelled in a stable condition.
