WorkSafe WA opens registration for Safe Work Month 2022

WorkSafe WA is encouraging workers, employers and safety professionals to register for Safe Work Month 2022.

October is National Safe Work Month, and WorkSafe encourages businesses to think of how they can improve health and safety in the workplace.

WorkSafe WA said "The Western Australian government believes that every person who goes to work deserves to come home healthy and safe. WorkSafe, part of the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety, is committed to supporting healthy and safe workplaces for the WA community, industry and the resources sector.”

This year’s theme is “WHS – think physical, think psychological” a reminder that under WHS laws ‘psychosocial is as important as physical.’
