WorkSafe WA invites submissions to the agriculture industry Inquiry

WorkSafe WA is inviting submissions to the Inquiry into the agricultural industry.

The Inquiry was established in June after the 12th fatality in the sector in 12 months.

The Inquiry’s Terms of Reference were announced, and independent inquirer Pam Scott was appointed to undertake the Inquiry.

WorkSafe WA said, “In addition to the call for written submissions, Independent Inquirer Pam Scott will seek community consultation in person at venues to be announced throughout WA.”

“Ms Scott will also travel to towns across WA to consult directly with members of the industry. Locations and dates for these meetings will be advertised soon.”

WorkSafe is accepting submissions to the Inquiry until Friday September 30.
